DRESSED FOR SUCCESS

July 5, 2007

Isn’t it true that you want to impress your clients, win contracts that are great for your company and “breathe” professionalism throughout your whole person? To achieve these objectives it’s not enough to only be as competent and informed as possible , you also have to win your credibility and to impose yourself through a proper wardrobe – which by the way has different rules, depending on the work area.

Working in a corporation
If you are working in a law company, a bank or a consultancy, the best is to pick classic and stiff clothes, two pieces suits with pants or skirts, which would have to come in neutral colors like: black, grey, military green or different shades of brown.

Working in a looser or modern environment
Are you working in publicity, journalism at a newspaper, radio or television? Then you probably want to have an apparition as distinctive as possible, less orotund and to be, at the same time, wearing comfortable clothes. With all these said, it is still important to remember that you have to wear decent clothes, adapted to the requirements of your profession. The so called “casual – elegant” style is the best choice in your case. You can wear here jeans, a blouse or a coat as long as they are a little formal and the colors not too bright.

Working in service industry
If you are working in a hospital, restaurant or beauty salon, your image has to be the image of an adorable person on which you can reply on at all times. The classic deux-pieces are not fit here because you are not after imposing over your interlocutor. However, If you like wearing a suit pick happy pale colors or even red can be worn in this case. Also, you can wear sweaters, shirts and blouses with funny drawings or designs on them.

No matter what your working place is, sometimes you might find yourself holding in your hand an invitation to a rather select and pretentious event, an on that invitation you can read the words : black tie. Don’t know what that means?

Actually it is all about a dressing “code” which in our present day is not as strict and rigorous as in the past centuries. This means less rules but because of this the borders between formal and casual are very subtle and there can appear confusions. Here are the most important three styles included in this code when it comes to party invitations.

Formal
This term says basically that we cannot wear jeans. The formal code applies to events like cocktails or parties, and we will dress accordingly. Black makes an excellent choice when faced with this situation. For men, tie is a must, even if they don’t like wearing it.

Black tie
Any evening dress and assorted purse for women and for men dark suits with ties assorted.

Casual
In this situation, you can wear something less conventional – still you have to be a pleasant and carefully arranged apparition, especially if it is a work party. A suit is ideal both for men and women, regardless of the moment of the day. Jeans are to be worn only if they are simple, without any “fashionable” add-ons. Men can wear the pants from a suit and a colored shirt.

Proven Tips, for Choosing Swim Suit Fashion

July 5, 2007

How to Pick Swimsuits That Slenderize. Swimsuits are slim suits for Summer. Softly shaped and sexy to flatter your figure.

When choosing a two-piece, pick one with a soft pleated bra. Have the bikini pants tie high for a flattering high-cut leg. You’ll look stunning and slim.

If you are small in the bust, pick a bra that is lightly padded.
Make sure that the briefs adjust with string ties to tie higher. This allows for adjusting in case of weight gain or loss through the summer months.

For a fuller figure, pick a one piece maillot. A lovely low cut will show off your sexy back. The one piece will curve to your shape nicely.

If you are full figured and large busted, don’t let a two piece scare you off. Pick an under wire bra, and well-cut  briefs. Choose one with a matching jacket for some extra cover.

For those of you that need tummy control, choose a swim suit with a skirt to flatten the tummy.

For those of you woman who like extra cover, the under wire bra supports the fuller bust line and a skirted brief conceals heavier hips. Also find one with a matching jacket for extra cover up.
Now that you have your swim suit picked, don’t forget, when it comes to Beauty and the Beach.

Getting a tan is a lot like cooking an egg. Both are easy to overdo. But since a burned egg  isn’t as awful as a burned back, here are some sensible ways to keep your “sunny side up” this summer.

1. Buy suntan lotion according to your particular skin type. Blondes brunettes and redheads should use a product with the maximum amount of sun screen.

2. Take lots of lotion to the beach and reapply frequently. Better to under tan than over burn.

3. Would-be mermaids and all those who spend hours treading water can prevent that “prune” look by an all over  rubbing of skin cream before the first dive.

4. If swimming or water-skiing tangles your hair unmercifully, try wearing it braided or in a bun. Also, never yank a brush through wet hair; it’s most susceptible to breakage when wet.

5. Don’t skimp on body oils or moisturizers in the summertime. Sunshine depletes your natural oils.

6. If you don’t cotton to sandy ears, pack some cotton swabs in your beach bag. Use them also to apply small amounts of oil to your eye area. Even the darkest sunglasses sometimes can’t keep you from squinting and a touch of moisturizer can discourage “laugh lines.”

Gossip from the men’s section.

June 30, 2007

The last couple of years my husband has been working in the Oil fields of Northern Alberta Canada. Spending lots of time with the boys. That’s where the talk gets real and the Boys let down their hair and speak their true feelings about women.

The guys in the Oil Camps vary in age, all the way from 17 to 75 years. So you hear it all.

My husband and I talk every day over the phone or we MSN. Just to touch base with each other. So I’ve been getting the boys stories.  So here it is Gals.

What do men think about most of the time? “Women.” Oh, yes “Sex with women.” Lets not leave that part out.

Men love underwear. The sexier the better. Plane and worn out…Big turn off. Throw it away Ladies!

Pantie lines, “No Way!” The body shape is what they’re looking at.

“Muffin Tops.” They’re grading women. Sure it’s not right, but it doesn’t stop them from doing it. 1 to 10 as to how much fat women have hanging out over their middles. Fat falling out of their pants or skirts. Ladies? Have you no pride? Women of today suck it in! They love their women big or small, but please keep it all together. You have ways of controlling those “Muffin Tops.” That’s incentive enough for me. So don’t think en are not noticing.

“The Thong.” That’s where it’s at. There is no bigger a turn on! “Thong.” Even the sound of the word makes it sound sexy and wearing one feels sexy. Don’t take my word for it, try it. Let me know…

Costume. A little pretend and fun play. Let loose and see what happens. Hey we all watch Hollywood. Well bring Hollywood home for a change. You’ll love it! Come on Ladies, guys are “shy”. Most of them any how. Are they going to let you in on their little fantasy? Maybe not, so start  one of your own.

Men love ritzy looking women. If you’re wearing fancy lace under garments, that’s a big bold statement. You like yourself and it shows, You’re feminine. You look good! All with your own special style.

Let’s face it, your lingerie is very personal and private. Remember this is the beginning of your great look. After your lingerie what you put on will only be enhanced by your bra, panties body shaper or breast enhancers. You are, how you dress.

Do your own survey next time you’re out. How a person is dressed, says a lot about them.

Where do the “Muffin Tops” finish?

Is Your Bra the Wrong Size?  Here is your guide to fit your bra perfectly, look great and feel confident.
Symptom: The Bra cups pucker

Problem: Your cup size is too large

Solution: Go down one cup size (e.g.: from a D cup to a C cup) or tighten your bra straps.

Symptom: Breasts are “bulging” out over the top of the bra.

Problem: Cup size is either too small or cut too low for the size of your breasts.

Solution: Try going up a cup size (e.g.: from a B cup to a C cup) or choose a bra style which has more fabric in the cup.

Symptom: One cup fits fine, the other cup puckers.

Problem: One breast is larger than the other (very common).

Solution: Almost all women have one breast larger than the other. Sometimes the difference is noticeable, most often it’s not. If your difference is significant, you have several choices. You can purchase a bra with stretch fabric in the cup. The size difference will then not be noticeable. You can also try a bra with fiberfill or light padding which will hide the size difference. Also, try adjusting the straps so that the larger breast cup is looser than the smaller breast cup. And, you can purchase a padded bra with removable “cookies,” and take the cookie out of the side with the larger breast.

Symptom:  Center bra panel does not rest on breastbone.

Problem: Cup size is too small or you’re not wearing your bra correctly.

Solution: Re-arrange your breast tissue in the cup and see if the fit changes. If this doesn’t solve the problem, try on the bra in the next larger cup size (e.g. go from a 32B to a 32C).

Symptom: Center bra panel has a gap.

Problem: Style of bra does not work with your figure.

Solution: Try a different style bra or have the bra altered.

Symptom: Bra rides up in back.

Problem: Your band size is too large.

Solution: Try hooking your bra on a tighter setting and loosening the straps. If this doesn’t work, your band size is too big and you need to buy a smaller size (e.g.: from a 36C to a 34C).

Symptom: Your bra is uncomfortable; cutting and pinching when you move.

Problem: Your bra is hooked too tightly, your band size is too small, or the sides of your bra are too narrow for your figure type.

Solution: Try hooking your bra on a looser setting or adding a back extender accessory. It may also be that the bra style is inappropriate for your figure. Consider a style with wider sides and a three-hook closure in back.

Symptom:  Straps keep falling off shoulders.

Problem:  If tightening the strap is not working, the problem could be that your cup size is too big. You’re not filling out the top of your cup and this is causing your straps to slide down your shoulders. The bra style could also be the problem. Wide-set straps are very popular. However, if you have small or sloping shoulders, this style is not for you.

Solution: Try a bra with a smaller cup size or a different style bra. Racer-back bras are a great solution for falling straps. There are also accessories that help to keep your straps in place. Visit our accessory department to see a selection.

Symptom: Underwire is uncomfortable and poking.

Problem: Either the cup size is too small, placing the underwire right on the tender breast tissue, or the style of the bra is not providing a wide enough cup to support your breast, or the design of the bra is placing the cups too close together.

Solution: Try going up a cup size and see if the underwire fits more comfortably (e.g.: 36C to a 36D). Or try a different style bra with fuller cups and/or a larger center panel in front. A large-breasted woman can still experience poking on the sides, even in a bra that is the correct size.

Symptom: Stretch marks are visible running up and down the breasts.

Problem: Your breast tissue is breaking down from lack of wearing a bra, or wearing a bra with loose support. Breakdown of the breast tissue is causing your breasts to sag, creating stretch marks. This problem can occur on small- breasted women as well.

Solution: Wear a well-constructed, supportive bra during the day and a firm sports bra for exercising.

Is Your Bra the Wrong Size?

December 20, 2006

Bra2PantieSimple guidelines to help you choose the right bra size. Let me help you  to a perfect fitting bra.

———————————–

Is Your Bra the Wrong Size?

You spend so much time following fashion trends. You want to look great in the outfits you buy.  I know I do. But aren’t you forgetting  a big part of the picture? What about what’s under all these lovely fashions? That’s right, your lingerie. Because if what’s underneath isn’t right your outfit just won’t look right.

There is something special about those intimate outfits. Your bra and panties, those sexy dainty pieces of cloths you have on, that normally no one sees.    Your breasts are being supported. The under wire lightly padded bra gives you a D cup size look, that you have always wanted. That G string feels so sexy. The materials are so sheer, you can’t even tell you are wearing them under your outfit.

You feel sexy. You know you are looking good. You feel confident. All those feeling just emanate from your personality. That just makes your outfit look 110% better.

How do you get that extra edge in life? You’ve heard of the saying, “Dress for success.”  Well here is where you start.

Perfect Fit Checklist

Let’s face it, do we really know what a good fitting bra looks like? What are the signs that a bra is the wrong size? Well, let us help. Here is a checklist of what to look for.

Smooth fitting cups: If you don’t fill out the cups, you need a smaller size. If you are “overflowing” in the cups, try a larger cup size or a style with a fuller cup design.

The edges of the cups should also lie flat against your breast. If there is a gap (especially with padded bras), you should go down a cup size.

Center panel lays flat against your breast bone: If it does not, this could be a sign that your cup size is too small, or the panel is not large enough to accommodate the separation between your breasts.

The bottom of the bra in the front and back is parallel to the floor or slightly lower in the back: The lower edge of the band should anchor below the shoulder blades. The lower the back fits, the better the support.

A finger can be run under the front band: Your bra should be snug, but not too tight. If it’s tight, you need a larger band size or a looser hook placement.

Still not the perfect fit? Consider an alteration. We alter our clothes for a better fit, why not a bra? One woman in our office really measures to a 35 band size. She therefore buys a 36D and has a dart put in at the sides.

Now that you understand how to fit your bra, your on your way to looking and feeling GREAT!

Have a look at the Tatiana designer bra and pantie sets. You will find a wonderful selection.
